TEAM HISTORY

            Robin Smith established Crud Brother’s Racing in 1993.  The team, based in Oak Hill, OH, began racing go-karts.  Racing throughout Southern Ohio, CBR enjoyed almost immediate success. Mr. Smith maintained a truly family oriented race team with his son Falcon driving and his wife Earlene also actively involved.  The success of CBR continued to grow as they won multiple races and track championships. 

            In 1998, Mr. Smith decided it was time to take the next logical step to move up the ranks.  CBR turned to Legends Cars as the answer.  The team took on a large learning curve and it showed in the beginning.  However, as they gained experience and confidence, the results soon came.

            In 2000, CBR began an impressive streak of feature wins and track championships, including six straight Ohio State Dirt Championships.  Then, in 2006, CBR took the racing season off in order for Falcon to focus on completing his Associates Degree in High Performance Motorsports.

            For the 2007 racing season, CBR, now under the management of Falcon Smith, relocated to Troutman, NC with a new outlook.  Positioning themselves in the heart of the racing industry, CBR is now competing in the best markets against the best competition Legends Car racing has to offer.  The remarkable return to the track included another Ohio State Dirt Championship, two Track Championships, and 8 wins in only 15 races.  In 2008, those results were followed up with the team’s 8^th Ohio State Dirt Championship.

CRUD BRO’S. RACING

            Crud Brother’s Racing is located in Troutman, NC.  The team competes full-time on the Raceceiver Legends Car Series which features races all across the country, including the prestigious Summer Shootout Series at Lowe’s Motor Speedway which is televised nationally on the Speed Channel.  CBR owns a pair of Legends Cars and is driven not only by success on the track, but also by keeping a professional appearance and attitude.
